2 Quarterback Leagues are quickly becoming as popular as typical roster lineups. Starting 2 QB's makes their value skyrocket while keeping the rest of the season the same. If you agree that the Quarterback is the most important player on the field, and should be in your lineup as well, 2 QB Leagues are for you!
All BreakoutFFL.com (BFFL) leagues are half Point Per Reception .5 (PPR), except for TE's which receive 1 PPR. A Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) system is used with a starting FAAB of $1,000. All player trading is ended at the conclusion of week 10 to discourage collusion of any type. All BFFL leagues are hosted at MyFantasyLeague.com (MFL). All franchise owners will need to create a free MFL account before the start of their 1st draft. Official league scoring is posted on the sign up page.
Franchise Rosters 1.1
Franchises are made up of a starting roster of; 2 Quarterbacks, 2 Running Backs, 3 Wide Receivers, 1 Tight End, 2 Flex (RB, WR, TE), 1 Place Kicker, and 1 Defense Special Teams combo. Each team also has 7 bench spots to fill with backup players. All franchises must submit a full roster every week.
Players Scores 1.2
BFFL uses a 2 decimal point scoring system for accuracy and to help prevent ties. All players earn .5 Points Per Reception (PPR), except for the TE position which earns a full 1 PPR. QB's, and all other players, receive 4 Points Per Passing touchdown. QB's earn .02 for every .5 passing yards, this works out to 4 points for every 100 passing yards. RB's and WR's earn .1 point for every 1 rushing/receiving yard. All Receiving and rushing 2 point conversion are counted as 2 points, throwing a 2 point conversion is worth 1 point. The PK earns a single point for an extra point kick and 3 points per field goal. Defense and special teams scoring is based on points they allow their opponent to score, starting at 10 and working down to a possible -3. All fumble recovery's, forced fumbles and sacks are worth 1 point. Interceptions and safeties are worth 2. Any TD scored by the DST is worth 6 points.
Franchises select the date and time they wish to draft and as soon as the league fills an email will be sent out confirming the league has filled. A second confirmation email will have the randomly generated draft order. BFFL sends out the random draft order at the filling of the league so players can get an early idea of players that may be available to them. A league commissioner will be live in the draft room to answer questions and help when needed. Type "PAUSE" in the draft room chat box to request a pause from the league commissioner in case of any issues. BFFL staff HIGHLY recommends setting up your MFL account and doing at least 1 free Mock Draft on the MyFantasyLeague.com website to familiarize before the day of your draft.
Regular Season 2.2
BFFL 12 team leagues consist of a 13 week regular season and a 3 week post season. All franchises play 2 teams in the league twice and all other teams once throughout the regular season. All season schedules are randomly generated. Free Agent pick ups process on Tuesday and Fridays at 10:00 pm EST throughout the season.
Playoffs & Seeds 2.3
6 Teams make the playoffs starting in week 14 with 1st and 2nd playoff seeds earning a 1st round bye. Seeds 1-4 are determined by overall season win/loss record. Seeds 5-6 are the 2 remaining teams with the highest season long points, regardless of win/loss record. The championship is held in week 16 of the NFL season. All seeding ties are resolved via season long points total, then week 13 points total.
Free Agent Acquisition Budget 3.1
The Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB) system is a blind bidding auction for free agents every week. At the conclusion of the draft each franchise is given a $1,000 FAAB money (fake money) to spend on free agents throughout the season. The $1,000 FAAB carries over week to week. FAAB money can not be traded or refilled. Free agents are processed automatically on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 pm EST. All FAAB bids resulting in ties are broken by the player who has previously not taken a player for the longest amount of time. Once the playoffs begin all eliminated teams are prevented from making player acquisitions.
At the conclusion of week 10 no trades will be for the duration of the season. This is to prevent collusion of any type with the playoffs coming up. No trades involving 5 or more players or, 3 or more players from the same team, will be approved. Trades can be made as soon as the draft has concluded, with trades being reviewed intermittently until the start of the NFL preseason. At the start of NFL preseason trades will be reviewed Thursday evenings. At the start of the NFL regular season trades will be reviewed on Tuesday and Thursday at 10 pm EST.
